Colorado Judicial Institute's Judicial Excellence for Colorado Award Dinner
The 17th Annual Colorado Judicial Institute's Judicial Excellence for Colorado Award Dinner, celebrating Colorado's judiciary will be held on October 17th at the History Colorado Center.
This year's honorees for their outstanding service on the bench:
District Court Judge Timothy J. Schutz, 4th Judicial District, El Paso County
County Court Judge Olympia Z. Fay, 2nd Judicial District, Denver County
Magistrate Matthew R. Zehe, 8th Judicial District, Larimer County
In addition, CJI will honor the late United States District Judge Wiley Y. Daniel and United States District Judge Marcia S. Krieger with Judicial Leadership Awards.
Weld County Judges Hartmann, Tuttle and Karowsky have been so honored by CJI in the past.

The Judicial Education Fund is one of the few resources available to the judiciary to improve their skills for the benefit of the people of Colorado. Many of the judicial officers currently sitting in Weld County have attended educational programs with funding from CJI.
The event will be in a new cocktail buffet style format, which will facilitate networking among the 600 attending attorneys and judges. Individual tickets may be purchased at $200 per person, or $110.00 for attorneys practicing for 5 years or less at the following link: http://www.coloradojudicialinstitute.org/awards-reservation-information
