PRO BONO REPRESENTATION = CLE Credits
In case you did not know, attorneys assisting Weld County Legal Services referrals can earn CLE credits.
For every five hours of pro bono representation, you earn one CLE credit, up to nine CLE credits in a three-year period. You can fill out the form here:

Legal Nights - 2023
Legal Nights are scheduled for the following dates in 2023:

May 23rd
Aug. 22nd
Oct. 24th

These free in person, Ask An Attorney Clinics will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at Northern Colorado Immigrant and Refugee Center, 3001 8th Ave., #170, Evans, CO. If you are free those evenings and willing and able to volunteer, please reach out to Vickie at vtaylor.wcls@gmail.com to be added to the list. A light dinner is provided for the attorney volunteers. All legal specialties are needed. Immigration is especially important at these clinics

We need you!

WCLS provides reduced-fee and pro bono assistance to many members of the community annually. However, we could not do so without the support of local law firms. We truly appreciate all the assistance we receive. This is a great way for newer attorneys to help the community, familiarize themselves with our community, and gain some confidence. Those attending our free legal clinics are so grateful for the help they receive. We truly could not do this without you. If you can spare a few hours a month, please email vtaylor.wcls@gmail.com or call (970) 310-8367, to be added to our emailing list for free legal clinics as well as for our referral list for reduced-fee and pro bono attorneys.

Ask-An-Attorney VIRTUAL Clinics:
If you are not on our emailing list but would like to be included in our calls for volunteers for our monthly Ask-An-Attorney Clinics, please email vtaylor.wcls@gmail.com. We are always in need of family law, civil, probate and criminal law attorneys. We are currently holding the clinics virtually (by phone), so you are able to receive a list of residents who need assistance the morning of the clinic (in time for you to make conflicts checks), and then call them back between 3 and 5 p.m. on the date of the clinics.
