A little about me

Describe yourself in five words.

Joyous, loving, contemplative, humorous, risktaker

What are the greatest challenges you face in your practice?

Running a business and practicing law full time. Sometimes, I am tempted to
open a coffee shop in the lobby to add to the responsibilities that I have.

What's your favorite place to escape to in Colorado? Steamboat Springs

IMMEDIATE PAST PRESIDENT

Milena Ilevska

A little about me

What do you like most about your practice area? Helping people get to the next chapter of
their lives. I find family law cases fascinating and fulfilling. They allow practitioners to
work with and help people on a daily basis. They can also be very challenging as there
are a lot of crossovers between family law and other areas of law. Each case is a new
opportunity to learn and do better for the client.

What is one thing you know now that you wish you would have known in your first year of
practice?

The years of practice will never be a substitute for persistence, patience and
giving each case the individual attention it deserves.

BOARD OF GOVENORS

Francis Kailey

A little about me

What's the best advice you've ever been given? The best general advice I try to give to
people is to be courageous. I think most people, myself included, often struggle to be
proactive in meeting life’s challenges. Getting prepared, thinking critically, having the
difficult conversations, and making important decisions and plans well in advance makes
for extraordinary results in all things.
